3060 carbon neutral

On September 22, 2020, President Xi Jinping announced at the General Debate of the Seventy-fifth United Nations General Assembly that China will adopt more powerful policies and measures, and strive to achieve CO2 emissions by 2030

It will reach its peak before 2060, and strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. This means that it will take less than 10 years for China to achieve carbon peaks and less than 30 years to complete the transition from carbon peaks to carbon neutrality. Because of the different development stages, some developed countries have already achieved carbon peaks, and then it takes 60-70 years to transition from carbon peaks to carbon neutrality. In contrast, China's carbon peaking and carbon neutrality are faster, more powerful, and tasks more difficult.

In the past, with the support of government management departments and the efforts of the energy industry, the new energy industry has achieved good results. There are new breakthroughs in new energy installations and grid connection, technological advancement in the industrial chain, and cost reduction. Under the new national energy security strategy and the "3060" carbon target, China will accelerate the transformation of the industrial structure and the adjustment of the energy structure. The domestic new energy industry is facing new development opportunities and challenges!
